Kolache Factory was founded in Houston, Texas, in 1982 by John and Jerri Banks, who bought a small Westheimer Road shop and kept its name. Now headquartered in Katy, Texas, and franchising since 2000, it is known for fresh-baked savory and sweet kolaches made throughout the day.
